Actually, my father's beliefs are very similar to Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs and he thought he could beat his beliefs into me. I was never taught they were freaks and should be rediculed. E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator I can't say that for other religious folks I've encountered. I will say, that neither my wife nor any other JW's have ever tried to force their beliefs on me.they may test the waters but then quickly back off, while still treating me with respect. But that's ME.I could be wrong or I could be right. and being able to step away and look at it all somewhat objectively has opened up my eyes. I understand that many of us were taught from an early age that JW's were "freaks" and were to be ridiculed.myself included, and I see that attitude a lot on these forums in relation to Prince's conversion.
